摘要
The authors start from the objectives of the 2020-2030 National Strategy for Sustainable Development and try to identify the public policies by which the transition towards circular economy in Romania may be accelerated. It is taken into account the preservation of natural capital and the increase of the efficiency of using resources. In the paper there are highlighted the reflections of the authors with regard to resource productivity. We insist on responsible production-consumption models and the stage of implementing of integrated waste management systems in each county. Appealing to EUROSTAT data, a multifactorial model of assessing the circularity of an economy is proposed. In the end of the paper there are underlined the concerns of certain romanian companies for assimilating the CIRCULYTICS tool for measuring circularity.
