摘要
Different from smart antenna, software antenna can cope with various radio environments by selecting appropriate algorithms. In this paper, we place emphasis on the identification of radio environments in software antenna for high-speed millimeter wave wireless communication systems. According to the major impairments of radio propagation and the limitation of the adaptive algorithms, we give a criterion to categorize the environments. A spatial smoothing method to identify the environments is also proposed.
