摘要
Energy is a considerable factor used in most economic activities. The national security of many countries is dependent on the certain access to energy. Thus, the future generation and consumption in various forms of energy and their optimized applications assumed considerable importance. Iran is known as one of the countries possessing significant energy resources in the world. Almost 11% of oil fields and 16% of global gas reserves are located in Iran. Due to the growing trend of energy consumption, cheap energy and low efficiency of the relevant equipment, future expansion plans for energy in Iran requires appropriate concerns. In this article, regarding to the importance energy planning, modeling of Iran's energy systems and computing the amount of required energy for its primary energy carriers, according to the existing energy model, for the next 20 years is investigated. The modeling is done by LEAP software, and Iran's future energy is analyzed through introducing the scenario of using combined heat and power simultaneous generation systems (CHP) as a nominate for demand side consumption management.
