The film Eg man thornig (I Remember You) by Oskar bor Axelsson (2017) is an adaptation of the eponymous novel by Yrsa Siguroardottir from 2010. This article focuses on the film's depiction of the haunted house, especially on how the empty and mouldy space represents the main characters' lost future.
