摘要
The paper considers the possibility of using cascade multi-level frequency converters in an asynchronous electric drive. The features of building a power part of the frequency converter are shown. The comparison of the elements in the power part of the frequency converter is done. The output voltage vectors depending on the switching of the power switches of the frequency converter are shown. The schemes of substitution are considered which allows simplify the mathematical models of the system. The study of transient processes with different voltage amplitudes of the source is carried out, the harmonic coefficient is shown.
