摘要
Cluster-wise distributed multi-user multiple-input multiple- output (MU-MIMO) is a promising solution for improving the system capacity and energy efficiency in the fifth generation (5G) advanced systems which accommodate much larger number of user equipments (UEs) and utilize higher frequency bands. Clustering method can be introduced to separate the large-scale MU-MIMO to several small ones to mitigate the problem of prohibitively high computational complexity. In return, the inter-cluster-interference is produced and degrades the capacity. To remedy this capacity degradation problem, the power allocation can be introduced. In this paper, we propose a power allocation strategy for sum capacity maximization. The proposed power allocation strategy is compared with equal power allocation (EPA) strategy. It is confirmed by the computer simulation that the proposed strategy is superior in terms of sum capacity.
