Coordination polyhedra RuX6 (X = F, Cl, Br) in crystal structures

摘要
The Voronoi-Dirichlet polyhedra (VDP) and the method of intersecting spheres were used to perform crystal-chemical analysis of compounds containing complexes [RuaXb](z-)(X = F, Cl, Br). The coordination number of the Ru atoms with respect to the halogen atoms was found to be always 6. Moreover, the Ru atoms can form one or two additional Ru-Ru bonds whose direction coincides with a C-3 axis of the RuX6 octahedron (only for X = Cl, Br). The effects of the valence state of the Ru atoms and the nature of the halogen atoms on the composition and structure of ruthenium complexes were considered. The influence of Ru-Ru interactions on some characteristics of sublattices consisting of ruthenium atoms was discussed.
