摘要
Space-borne S-band 10W solid-state power amplifier (SSPA) has been developed in BeiDou Navigation Satellite System. Its output power directly affects the EIRP value of the system. In this paper, a design of a space-borne S-band 10W solid-state power amplifier is presented. The main performance of the SSAP is similar to the imported products, the bandwidth is wider and the efficiency is higher. The SSPA has the dimensions of 228mmx139mmx56mm with a weight of 1.35kg.The power of the multi-carrier with a 110MHz bandwidth output is greater than 10W, and efficiency achieves 35% at 21xxMHz - 23xxMHz over the temperature range from -25 to +60 degC.
