摘要
A simplified algebraic approach to convolution and deconvolution was presented in the previous parts of this course. The algorithms were based on unit step response system characterization. This approach makes routine application, of these important operations available to a broad range of users for practical application in measurement and control. A useful new algebra of these convolutionary operations was introduced in Part 4. This included new symbols and terminology, and essential rules of cascaded and mixed mode convolutionary operations. Part 5 presents several measurement applications of that formal algebra. Examples of actual use on real electrical, thermal, and mechanical measurement systems and data will be presented at the end of this series.
