摘要：
Epidemiology is by no means an academic study method, but represents tools to apply knowledge and skills in pediatric neurology for practical cure, care, and prevention of diseases. In this review after a brief account of the methods, results of our Japan-Pakistan comparative study of SSPE were shown to illustrate how epidemiological methods are useful to analyze pathogensis of a disease.
