摘要：
It is the basis to adapt to book information development in new situation to apply modern information technology for book information service. Presently, book information service is unevenly distributed, lack of management mechanism and insufficient capital input in China, which restrains its development. For this reason, literature data and logical analysis methods are applied in this paper for deep research of modern information technology application in book information service. The study shows that application of modern information technology is beneficial to improve staff's operation skill, the quality of book information service and provide guarantee for validity and reliability of information literature. Finally, specific suggestions are proposed for the passive book information service model in China to promote book information service work to break the time and space restriction and improve the application efficiency of modern information technology in book information service.
