MOOSE Crossing is text-based virtual reality environment (or ''MUD'') on the Internet designed to give kids 9 to 13 a meaningful context for reading writing, and computer programming. The project aims use the Internet to situate constructionist learning in a supportive community context, and explores the notion of ''a learning culture.''
