摘要
The subject of the paper is solving the problem of optimal selection of the generating unit composition (Unit Commitment) in selected variants of the renewable generation sources participation in the total generation. A methodology for determining the optimal composition of generating units using a MATLAB program is presented. Also an extension of the classical algorithm with the possibility of deriving a reduction of power generated in RES power plants to reduce the costs of power system operation is presented.
