The researches from the perspective of informational practices of individual are covered by the social approach of the study user of information. Incipient in the field, in relation to the traditional cognitive approaches, the social approach embraces the interaction of people when dealing with information and is characterized by a continuous building in search of enduring interests, which are in the range between the individual and the collective. From this perspective, these buildings may appear "opaque" or "invisible", but able to be seized as the adoption of theoretical and methodological aspects specific and multiple due to its complexity. In the present article is based in assumptions of Bruno Latour's theory regarding the associative sociology in order to emphasize the constructive aspect of the actions of individuals in dealing with information, articulating the "sources of uncertainty" methodological highlighted by the author to understand social informational relationship, allowing to identify and propose analytical elements for research with this approach. We conclude that the appropriation of associative sociology, contributes to the investigations that take social approach as associative, constructivist nature, able to integrate other approaches, distancing the idea of separation between the elements of action that compose it.
