摘要：

To gain competitiveness,iron & steel enterprises have to optimize production planning and scheduling, and hence the developments of decision support systems are necessary. A decision support system for steel tube production planning and scheduling is introduce in this paper. The test results in Tianjin Pipe Corporation show that the system can develop automatically the monthly and daily plans for three production units within three minutes. The systems have obtained primary acceptance from the shop floors.
