摘要
A mathematical model of lubrication with the electric double layer (EDL) was put forward in order to study the influence of EDL. The lubrication tests with a composite sliding block and a disk were carried out with oleic acid used as an additive to strenghen EDL. The streaming potential and friction force were measured. The experimental results show that the EDL has an apparent effect on the frictional force, which increases the ability of forming lubrication film.
