Design of a High Conversion Efficiency L-band Rectenna

摘要
Rectennas are widely applied to wireless microwave power transmission systems. This paper presented a novel antenna, in which the antenna is formed by the Z-branch and the coplanar waveguide(CPW). The antenna is conducive to miniaturization with a size of 90mmx65mm. A rectifier is also designed in this paper which can connect on the back of the antenna. The lambda g/8 terminated short-circuited microstrip line is used to suppress the imaginary part of impedance of diode. Under the input power 23dBm, the conversion efficiency of the rectifier is reaches 78%.
