Ku-band analogue phase shifter in SIW technology

摘要
An innovative reconfigurable reflection-type phase shifter realized in Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) technology is presented. The device allows a continuous control of the phase shift by using varactor diodes. The key element of the device, the variable reflective load, has been fabricated and tested, confirming the feasibility of the proposed approach. The present device can be employed in SIW phased arrays leading to compact, low profile and low cost phased array systems.
