摘要：

The Herlyn-Werner-Wunderlich syndrome is a rare congenital anomaly characterised by uterus didelphys with obstructed hemivagina, frequently associated with ipsilateral renal agenesis. The case is reported of a 14 year-old girl with a previous diagnose of right renal agenesis and no other relevant medical history, but with recurring ill-smelling vaginal discharge and intermittent dysmenorrhoea. Ultrasound and pelvic magnetic resonance imaging revealed uterus didelphys with right haematocolpos and ipsilateral renal agenesis. Hysteroscopy was used for vaginal septum resection, improving the symptoms and preserving reproductive capability in the patient. (C) 2021 Elsevier Espana, S.L.U. All rights reserved.
