Influence of a spherically layered radome on the pattern of a system of arbitrarily located radiators

摘要
The electromagnetic radiation of a system of elementary radiators (electric and magnetic dipoles and Huygens sources) arbitrarily located and oriented inside a spherically layered radome is studied with a rigorous electrodynamical approach. For radomes of small and medium electric dimensions, this mathematical model takes into account the effect of multiple reflections from the radome boundaries and the effect of the radome curvature on the antenna radiation characteristics. The developed algorithms are implemented as a software package. The numerical results are discussed.
