Game theoretic and decision theoretic agents

The behavior of pairs of negotiating game theoretic agents is discussed. In constructing multi-agent systems, a major element in the design mechanism is making use of decisions about which actions to adopt in order to achieve the goals. A mechanism is required to ensure that the actions adopted lead to benefits for both individual agents and community of which they are part. The results of adopting such mechanisms show that the approach out performs human controllers that are tended to focus redundant effort on most threatening attacker and also the teams agents that individually maximize utility. Most of the papers described deal with use of decision theory to deal with combinations of belief and utilities.
