摘要：
An error-resilient coding scheme (ERCS), which is used for still color image wireless transmission in industrial environment, is proposed in this paper. The basic idea is to embed a novel error protection mechanism into three-dimensional discrete cosine transform (3-D DCT). In other words, the ERCS provides a method to protect some high energy DCT coefficients. Some experimental results show that the ERCS can achieve a good trade-off between efficient compression performance and high reconstruction quality.
