Establish the New Normal of the Preparatory Ethnic Education in the University through the Student Advisors' Home Visits

摘要
As the widely used means in the primary and secondary schools, home visit has been quietly carried out in Colleges and universities. More and more college student advisors have used their holidays in them home visits. It's particularly important of the home visits for the preparatory and the ethnic students. The characteristics of this group of the students were obvious. Their families have located in the mid and the west or the rural areas in China. The student advisors' home visits have become the effective way of the school and family communication, also become a powerful carrier of the preparatory education and the unity ethnic education. The establishment of the long-term mechanism of home visits realize the connotation of the preparatory ethnic education, is a very meaningful research work. On January 20, 2015, the National United Front Conference was held in Beijing. Zhengsheng Yu, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), attended the meeting and stressed that it is necessary to pay attention to the ethnic minority classes in the Mainland and the education of minority students. Over the years, colleges and universities should attach great importance to the management of minority students as well as the national unity education, cultivate outstanding minority students, and strengthen the academic guidance, thus comprehensively promoting the employment of ethnic minority students. A comprehensive understanding of the characteristics of preparatory minority students is conducive to completing the work more effectively.
