摘要
Nanoparticles of ReFeO3 (Re= La, Pr, Nd, Sm & Gd) orthoferrites were synthesized by sol-gel combustion method. Detailed structural and microstructural parameters of ReFeO3 nanoparticles (NPs) were reported in this research. The magnetic and electrical properties of ReFeO3 NPs were investigated by Magnetization-magnetic field and Polarization-electrical field hysteresis loops. Based on this research SmFeO3 exhibits a ferromagnetic trend with an incomplete S-like hysteresis curve and the other compounds show a weak ferromagnetic behavior. The magnetic behaviors of ReFeO3 NPs were discussed based on the magnetization of Re and Fe sublattices and a core-shell model. The dielectric properties versus the frequency of ReFeO3 NPs were measured in the frequency range from 500 to 10 MHz. The temperature dependence of dielectric constant (epsilon) and dielectric loss (tan delta) of the samples have been investigated at 1000 Hz to determine the Neel temperature (TN) of these compounds.
