The Design of Millimeter-Wave Quasi-optical Power Synthesizer

摘要
The high power technology is widely applied in satellite communication and military systems. Based on the theory of beam waveguide(BWG) as well as polarization wire grid, we presents a quasi-optical power synthesizer working at millimeter-wave band. The designed power synthesizer can make electromagnetic wave traveling in two different ways with orthogonal polarization directions and combine them at a common output port. The designed quasi-optical synthesizer is fabricated and tested. The tested transmission efficiency of the two ways is above 83% and the designed synthesizer can working with a peak power of hundreds kilowattt(KW).
