A Design Practice of Cheongsam Activation Exhibition in Jiangnan Silk Culture Museum

As a non-profit cultural service institution, modern museum has become an important place for the public to understand history, learn knowledge and provide a public space for entertainment. Taking the clothing exhibition project of Jiangnan silk culture museum as an example, this paper explores the activation path of traditional clothing based on the clothing design theory, and takes the republic of China cheongsam as the theme to carry out the activation and exhibition design, so as to present the beauty of traditional clothing and silk. The design practice of the museum is of practical significance for the effective use of museum resources and also the function education of museum.
