The design of robust flight control system for helicopter using H∞ loop shaping

摘要
In this paper, the helicopter flight control system is designed by inner-outer loop pattern. Firstly, forward flight part of ADS-33E-PRF, the handling qualities requirements on helicopters proposed by US Navy, is explained in detail and objectives of this design are determined according to it. Secondly, by using Hoc loop shaping to design the inner and outer loops and also considering the model reduction, good flight performance and stability of the helicopter are achieved. The results of the ADS-33E-PRF evaluation show that the controller can achieve HQR lever 1.
