摘要
The production of ceramic building materials containing anorthite was investigated. Clay and blast-furnace sludge, generated from dust collectors by cleaning gasses, were used as raw materials. The chemical compositions of the raw materials for their use in the production of ceramic products were investigated. Calcium and iron-containing compounds included in the gas-cleaning sludge contribute to the formation of an anorthite phase and the lowering of the formation temperature of solid solutions. It was found that an anorthite phase is more likely to form when up to 80 wt.% sludge is added to the ceramic charge. The physicomechanical parameters of the obtained ceramic samples were investigated. It was determined that gas cleaning sludge in amounts 10 - 40 wt.% in the composition of the charge makes it possible to obtain products with compressive strength 18% higher than that of the control sample. The improvement in physicomechanical properties is associated with an increase in the amount of the anorthite formed, which is confirmed by x-ray phase analysis.
