Reliability engineering based procedural approach for product development

摘要
This paper describes a product development process focused on reliability engineering. The process is supported by five key principles: Communication, Prioritization, Innovation, Optimization and Confirmation. The process is also divided into five phases and each phase has several activities supported by many alternative methodologies. At the end of each phase, a number of questions is provided as a checklist to ensure quality of events during the phase activities.
