摘要：
Reactions in ionic liquids for a range of applications involving metal ions and their compounds are described. Applications in organic synthesis are exemplified using organostannanes in environmentally friendly allylation reactions, and metal-directed macrocycle formation via Mannich-type reactions. In addition, applications in metal recovery are introduced, namely oxidative leaching of chalcopyrite ore and copper electro-deposition in the presence of ionic liquids.
