摘要：
As empirical formulas do not succeed in predicting the ship squat with sufficient reliability, a numerical modeling system was developed. It is based on a three-model coupling to reproduce the physics of the phenomenon. The numerical modeling system was also used to set up a new formula. Finally, a comparison between measurements, empirical formulas, and the numerical modeling is made for three examples.
