摘要
The main difference between materials science in the nest century and the one closing is that it Hill be necessary, in explaining and measuring materials, to consider simultaneously several different and distinct scales of phenomena. Shape memory materials have been one of several classes of new systems which have made us aware of the need for new guiding principles.
