摘要
A general portal model (GPM) for identifying and organizing the basic services offered by portals is proposed. The portal definitions include the concept of single point of access for users, along with personalization and better decision making. Portal identification and transformation are concerned with portal access by applications functioning as clients, servers or peers. A common portal framework encourages development of interoperable components based on standard services and interfaces.
