摘要：
The authors demonstrate a 16 year old girl observed clinically for progressive extrapyramidal symptomatology. Clinical investigation, laboratory tests and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) were compatible with Hallervorden-Spatz disease. Hypointensity in globus pallidus and pars reticularis substantiae nigrae in Turbo Spin Echo mode T2 weighted image (T2WI) including the sign of ''Tiger eyes'' are typical but by no means specific MRI features of this disease.
