Long-period variations of cosmic rays and the global magnetic field of the sun

摘要
Long-period (1-5-year) variations of Galactic Cosmic Rays (GCRs) are studied using the data of stratosphere sounding and neutron monitor measurements, as well as different manifestations of solar activity, in particular, the global magnetic field of the Sun as a star. It is shown that quasi-periodic variations of GCRs with three-year or shorter periods arise as a result of variations of the solar global magnetic field with the same periods, appear simultaneously with them, have an inverse phase, and respond to the sign of the field.
