摘要
The results of the development of methods for compression and transmission of images using orthogonal transformations are presented. As an alternative to the previously proposed transmission method with the exclusion of the high-frequency component, a method that pre-serves approximate values is considered. It makes possible to substantially improve the quality of the restored images at an equal compression ratio.
