The spatialities of violence are central in the international reflection on the ef-fect of militarist practices. Legitimate state violence through military func-tions is everywhere, and its relation with gender dynamics, reproduction of hierarchical relations, and dynamics of domination of individuals and communities are under debate. The contribution adopts critical military geographies and proposes an analysis of opposition practices to military presence in Sardinia by informal feminist groups. A separatist positioning supporting alternative imaginaries to militarist spatialities emerges.
