摘要：
The propagation of Love-waves is greatly affected by the physical properties of the substance present at the surface of the wave-guide through which the waves propagate. In this contribution we investigate the applicability of Love waves for the realization of a micro detector which monitors the phase transition of water to ice. Experimental results show the ice-detection capability of a Love-wave oscillator.
