摘要
For use in on-road scenarios, many driver assistance systems have reached series-production readiness or are close to doing so. But if the environment changes to off-road, the users' requirements and especially the environment's parameters demand other assistance and autonomy functions. In this article we present some functionalities developed by our institute which can decrease the driver's cognitive load in those off-road scenarios: The convoy assist enables precise following of other vehicles in nearly all environments, and the mule assist helps move load between two camps. The scenarios of the M-ELROB 2016 robotics competition are used for evaluation.
