摘要
The Plains CO2 Reduction (PCOR) Partnership, led by the Energy & Environmental Research Center, is working with Denbury Onshore EEC (Denbury) to characterize and monitor a large-scale CO2 enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and CO2 storage project at the Bell Creek oil field located in southeastern Montana, USA. Denbury owns and operates the field and will carry out the commercial EOR project. The PCOR Partnership is applying an integrated approach to site characterization, modeling, predictive simulation, risk assessment, and monitoring to improve understanding of the interrelationship between CO2 storage and EOR in a elastic reservoir.
