The application of Ronald Dworkin's Theory of Equality of Resources in the Community and Family Management Plan

The purpose of this article is to investigate the concept of equality defended by Ronald Dworkin in his work The sovereign virtue. In it, it presents its theory as central to justify the distribution of resources and even its relation with the freedom of the individuals, later it is analyzed its application in environmental legislations, especially in the plan of community forest management, since the way in which it is predicted by the Instruction Normative n. 16 of the Chico Mendes Institute of Biodiversity Conservation, is not able to be applied by traditional communities because such legislation is not distributing the same resources for all, becoming the Dworkin theory very important for its understanding, attending to help our interpretation regarding the applicability of community management. The research is exploratory, aiming to guarantee familiarity with the investigated problem. The approach is qualitative and based on a bibliographic survey.
