摘要：
The results of nucleation experiments carried out on rapidly cooled clusters generated in supersonic flow in a newly designed apparatus will be presented, Electron diffraction not only monitors the time evolution of phase changes in clusters but also detects any significant temperature-dependent structural changes in a given phase, Isomeric differences in nucleation rates of hydrocarbons are discusssed briefly. The nucleation of ice in greatly supercooled microdrops of water is the primary object of investigation.
