摘要
Based on a theoretical and conceptual analysis of the philosopher Hans-Georg Gadamer's work, this paper aims to link the concept of work of art, and specifically poetry, with the teaching practice. The study seeks to approach the understanding of the teaching practice as a work of art, which finds in Gadamer's hermeneutics some possibilities to be put into practice by the teacher, meant to be the creator of such work, as an artist-teacher. The paper begins with a theoretical review on Gadamer's concept of work of art; then discusses poetry as a work of linguistic art; and finally makes some remarks on these concepts applied to teaching practice. It concludes by clarifying some ideas and pointing out limitations of the study.
