摘要
This study examines the trauma exposure and intergenerational transmission of psychological resilience among adults who have experienced war and migration. The study population consists of the first Generation, who lived in Cyprus between 1963 and 1974 and immigrated from the south to the north, and their offspring, who represent the second Generation. The study cohort consists of 336 individuals, 170 of whom are first-generation and 166 second-generation. In the study, the War Trauma Exposure Scale and Psychological Resilience were administered to individuals of the first Generation. Regarding the second Generation, Psychological Resilience was implemented. All data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 program software. There are generational distinctions in psychological resilience. The psychological resilience scores of the second Generation are higher than the psychological resilience scores of the first Generation. There was no correlation observed between trauma exposure and psychological resilience. Also, first-generation participants' exposure to trauma did not statistically predict psychological strength.
