摘要
Solid wastes are conventionally disposed in surface landfills Unfortunately, this approach fails in the long run, often disastrously, because all surface landfills leak, albeit sometimes at slow rates. Leakage results in Groundwater contamination, a situation which often cannot be rectified Geophysical monitoring is required to identify the states of the formation And disposed material for environmental security. A tensor gradiometer System with high accuracy may be used to identify the small physical property. Differences generated by the shape and location of waste solids or liquid Contaminants in the target formation. During quantitative gradient interpretation. Euler's deconvolution method is used to invert for depth, location. And shape of the altered zone. We have developed "four-dimensional" geophysical. Monitoring techniques to measure spatiotemporal variations both for gravity and natural seismic fields, to monitor and perhaps control the change of solids placement and DNAPL migration in target strata.
