摘要
The objective of the research is the elaboration of a system of procedures for the distance professional development of teachers in Higher Education in Ecuador, taking into account the inadequacies in the process of professional development in relation to the appropriation of the multicultural formative content of the teacher, which limits the professional performance in Higher Education. The methodology used was qualitative, a descriptive study was carried out with a cross-sectional design to collect data on distance professional development in Higher Education during the last quarter of 2019, within the research techniques the interview was used and as instruments the interview guide with which important results were obtained in relation to distance professional development in Higher Education. The present work revealed the theoretical inconsistencies of the professional improvement process in relation to the appropriation of the teacher's multicultural formative content; the logical-dialectical relationship allowed the qualitative interpretation of the results achieved with the proposed system of procedures which transits to the dynamics of the appropriation of the teacher's multicultural formative content to reach the assessment and corroboration of the feasibility and the scientific-methodological value of the elaborated system of procedures.
