Interference of stimulated static and polarization bremsstrahlung in electron-ion collisions in a strong laser field: Line shape asymmetry and dips

摘要
The significance of the interference of "static" and "polarization" channels in spectra of stimulated bremsstrahlung in electron-highly charged ion (HCI) collisions in a strong laser field is shown for transitions in soft X-ray spectral range. The results are based on the formerly developed formalism and universal analytic description [1]. The interference of channels is shown to produce (i) a strong asymmetry of spectra and (ii) the dips in cross-section dependencies on (a) laser frequency detuning from the closest atomic transition in the ion core and (b) laser field strength.
