摘要：
Visual data mining is a hot field of present data mining. This paper begins with basic concepts, making clear of what means data mining and knowledge discovery. Next, it elaborates three aspects as follows: data mining, classification of visual technology and analysis of the requirement of visual data mining. Finally, it analyzes the Ongoing research on VDM.
