The new law: Equal language treatment of genders required by law - Changes in the legal language brought about by feminist linguistics

For over thirty years those engaged in feminist linguistics have drawn the attention to the fact that women are marginalized through language. One of their demands is that the disadvantages which women face in legal texts are eliminated. Legal texts must address women as well as men. In the early 1990s concrete proposals were drafted.
