Drinks and the social atmosphere in 19th century Cuba

Drinks are not only an important nutritional contribution for man; they also satisfy part of his biological, physical, psychic and even religious needs. According to this, social relations that grow around drinks are elements of cultural identities' formation. This can be said about Cuba, when we study its social atmosphere during the 19th century, an important stage in its national gestation.
